Time recording doesn't just mean ensuring that employees are paid correctly and fairly. Time recording means being able to document, show evidence and ensure quality. This is one of the most important components of a successful company, especially in facility management, i.e. building cleaning, janitorial services and property management. We want to use a customer example to show how clockin can help to ensure quality assurance and keep the adherence to special rules, such as weekend and night work, under control without stress.

It means staying clear and flexible
Perfect Clean is a medium-sized building cleaning company Cell Phone Number Database with around 30 employees. By specializing in maintenance cleaning, Oliver Budde, Managing Director of Perfect Clean, has built up a solid customer base over the last few years that has high quality standards. These must be met every day, regardless of which of his employees is on site.
“We need a good overview of the individual project activities for the employees and must be able to respond to daily events, such as special tasks.”
Fluctuation, Corona, ... Perfect Clean is also struggling
The high level of fluctuation in the industry doesn't necessarily make this easy. Especially at the moment, shaken by the crisis caused by Corona and rising energy costs, the circumstances at Perfect Clean are constantly changing. But the living situation of the employees also changes frequently. "We have a regular coming and going," says Budde.
This leads to a high investment of time in training new employees and getting them used to the job. And time means money and uncertainty, especially because many of the employees do not speak German.

Time recording with pen and paper was driving him crazy
Time recording is not a new issue for building cleaning, working time recording has been mandatory here for many years. In the past, Perfect Clean solved this with pen and paper. However, this also requires a lot of time for manual transfer and, above all, calculating special regulations. This is because, especially in the area of Sunday and public holiday work, as well as night work, surcharges must be taken into account. For Oliver Budde, this means that a normal time sheet with two columns is not sufficient here.
The requirements for a time recording system are much more complex for the building cleaner. After a lot of work in the office and increasing growth of his company, he decides to go for a new solution.
No more pen and paper!
While searching for a program for digital time recording, he came across clockin, among others. He signed up for a free trial period and tried out the functions and options on a small scale at home, but quickly decided that the effort involved in introducing this app was not great for him and that it offered him great added value. When asked why clockin, he said: "Even at that point, the number of my employees was growing regularly. The modular structure of clockin played into my hands completely. I can quickly and easily increase the number of employees to be managed. With two clicks, I have two more employees in the administration at clockin.
